Sometimes, when there are great shifts happening in our personal life, or in worldly events, we can find ourselves holding on in big ways, when we're actually supposed to be letting go. 


And the reason for this is because we have no idea what is in front of us. It's completely unknown.  That's scary, and our instincts usually say, "Hold on, stop! I want to know what's familiar.  Am I really ready to step forward into the unknown?"

Even if your heart might be saying, "I AM ready to move forward..." We can begin to dig our heels in and stick to what it is we know, (what's familiar) even if it's not for our highest good. Holding onto structures that are dissolving is exhausting and can create a huge energy drain. 

So let's talk about how to move into a new viewpoint and take care of our energetic systems, when structures all around us are slowly dissolving.

Hello, everyone, welcome. This is Maria Furlano. Thank you so much for joining me today. It's episode number 79. On The Art Of Tuning In Podcast, I'd like to talk to you today about dissolving structures. That's what I've titled this episode. And it has to do with all of the energy that is shifting right now, individually on the planet all over for a long time now, but I'm sure that if you're a highly sensitive person, you may be feeling a lot of different kinds of pressure or energetic shift, whatever it is, however, it is that you interpret energy. And I want to talk to you a little bit about that today. And see if I can give you some tools. If you are feeling overwhelmed, if you are feeling like you don't know what's going on, if you're feeling a little confused if you're finding yourself very tired, because I know that that's something that I've been dealing with, I've been feeling very tired, and so much of it is energetic. I want to give you some guidance with that today. Thank you so much for being here. I really do appreciate it.

So let's talk about dissolving structures. What do I mean by that? Sometimes, when there are great shifts happening in our personal life, or in this case, worldly events, we can find ourselves holding on in a bigger way, when we're actually supposed to be letting go.

And the reason for this is because we have no idea what is in front of us. It's completely unknown. That's scary, our own instinctual parts of ourselves say, "Hold on, stop, I want to know what's familiar. I'm not ready to step forward."

Even though your heart might be saying I'm ready to move forward, your heart might be saying your soul might be saying, I know that we need these changes in the world, I know that we're moving towards greater things, I want to expand, I don't want to stay stuck, right? All of those things that you may really feel inside yourself when it's actually presented in front of us as a real thing that's happening, especially on a world stage where we may feel we have no control whatsoever about what's happening on the world stage financially, with wars, with decisions, politics, all of these things...

We can begin to dig our heels in and stick to what it is that we know, even if it's not for our highest good, and the parts of that create a huge energy drain. And that's what I really want to share with you today.

And again, this can happen absolutely in our personal life we can be in a relationship and know that it's time for that relationship to evolve in some way doesn't necessarily mean that the relationship is ending. But sometimes the relationship is meant to move in new directions or expand or it's just been stuck for too long and there's healing to take place. But that healing and that expansion requires a different viewpoint. It requires us to move through life differently requires us to think differently to make different decisions. And we can get really comfortable in the decisions that we've already been making for so long.

And this is what I feel when I tap into the energy of the world right now. This is really what I'm feeling that we are as a whole, that most people on the planet know that changes and shifts are here that they are coming that they have been coming that they are supposed to be coming that they are for our highest good, but everything is happening at once and it's been going on a long time. And it's scary. And when I tap into the energy, it almost feels foggy. And I'm wondering what you're tapping into and what you're sensing and feeling at this time? Because chances are, if you're listening to this podcast, you're highly sensitive. And you're doing this automatically yourself.

But when I'm tapping in, I'm noticing, when I say foggy, it's like a confusion, a disbelief, not knowing where to go? And as people are moving through their life, it's like, they're trying to say, "Everything's fine. Everything's good. It'll all be okay. nothing's really happening." And yet, everything is changing, everything.

And I was taking a walk today. And I noticed that I was doing that, too, that I was trying to hold myself in the same place that I've always held myself thinking, everything's going to be fine, we're going to be moving through this, it's all good. I'll just keep my alignment, which I believe still keeping my alignment, that's all really good. But then it hit me that this is the time to dissolve. It's the time that structures are dissolving. Which means that my energetic matrix and my structure, my personal structures, and how I look at life, how I move through life, the decisions I make, the opportunities that are here before me have to be different, if everything is dissolving, if structures are dissolving, meaning when I say structures are dissolving, I mean, things are just not being done the way they used to be. And we can't count on those same things that we may have counted on for hundreds of years.

And even though it's good that things are shifting, it's messy, it's scary, it's uncomfortable, and it's very real, it's right in front of us for myself. And this is what I really hope to pass on to you today to see if this will support you, as I allow myself to remember things are dissolving so that they can be rebuilt. And so that we can move in new directions. And that means that I also have to dissolve my old way of thinking that I also have to remember that there's new things ahead.

So I will picture different things. So instead of trying to, for example, figure out a problem the same way as before, it can be helpful to say "I'm in a brand new paradigm, everything is new." So that means that there is a brand new solution.

 

And the moments that I start to do that the moments where I say, this is a brand new idea, this is a brand new situation, everything is dissolving, everything is shifting, I stop getting disappointed.

 

Information is not accurate...

 

There has been a lot of shifts in my life recently, and information that my partner and I were getting were continuously incorrect. And it wasn't anybody's fault. No one was trying to lie to us, no one was trying to pull anything over on us just that nobody really knows what's going on right now. Everything is shifting so much in the world. That to get professional advice, for example, is very difficult, because nobody knows what they're dealing with. And it seems to change every day and sometimes hour by hour.

So when we're dealing with this kind of energy, how we can take our power back, and how we can empower ourselves and our family is to be able to stop and acknowledge and be really honest with yourself that everything is changing. And it's okay.

And if you go with that flow, that everything is changing, and it's okay. Even if it's just for a few seconds, I think you will feel a relief in your energy system. When I realized that I was again trying to solve a problem the same way I'd always solve this problem figured out the same things thought the same things, you know, I could do in the same order. I could do them go to the same people that I went before. And I was just going in circles, nothing was happening. Nothing was getting any better. And in fact, it seemed like it was getting worse. And I was exhausted, really exhausted. And I felt pressure, energy pressure which made me really tired. And then as I realized, this dissolving, things are changing. Everything is new. So if everything's new, I can do things the same way. And I can't expect the same information, or the same patterns that I am used to doing, I can't expect those same patterns to give me really what I need anymore. Because nothing is the same. As soon as I did that, I felt a huge relief of energy.

And I would love for you to try this too.

Now, you can still feel scared, you can still feel like everything shifting, maybe I don't want what is shifting to shift. Or maybe you feel great about things that are shifting. But if you are going to view things from a new lens, it's really great to acknowledge that it's really great to get really honest with yourself.

And so how do we actually do this, let's talk about it for a moment, a reminder that if you are scared about everything that's shifting, about everything that is dissolving, about everything that's changing about not knowing what's happening from day to day, these are very real concerns, and they're going to put your nervous system into chaos.

The first thing that we want to do whenever we're getting really honest with ourselves, and we're learning to tune into ourselves in a new way, where we begin to empower our own energy, meaning that we have control over our own energy, we have control over how we choose to focus our mind, we have control over the vibration that we carry ourselves in. In order to do that, we have to stop wherever you are, and you breathe.

Now I know that that might sound like oh gosh, you know, Maria is always telling me to breathe, or everybody out there is always saying stop and breathe. But there are real reasons for this. When we breathe when we stop. And we tune into our breath, use the breath to let go of stress, let go of emotions, by specially blowing out our mouth, and inhaling nice and long and blowing it out. And then finally getting to an even breath where we're inhaling nice and long, and we're exhaling nice and long. And now we're even, we begin ourselves to consciously calm down our nervous system, which means that we begin to empower our own body, we empower our own mind, we bring ourselves into a state of centeredness. And we really can't make good decisions and look at life from a broader view if we're not centered. And that's the entire reason why every energetic teacher will tell you, you have to stop, calm your mind, breathe, and center yourself. Because that is where we see a broader view from. Otherwise, we're just acting out of fight and flight, we're acting in fear mode, we're acting in worry mode, and we're trying to put out fires, and our energy is scattered everywhere, and we have to bring it in.

And when we bring it in, we see much more clearly. And then we make much fewer mistakes. And we're able to react and respond in the moment that is not only the most loving for ourselves, but the most loving and blessed for other people as well. 13:22 Stopping and breathing. And you can do this seated or standing. And then I would take out a piece of paper and I would write down "How do I really feel about everything in this world seeming like it is shifting and changing and structures dissolving? How do I really feel about that?" 13:44 And write down honestly, just write feverishly just never let the pen or pencil stop. And just write out how you really feel.

You know, you can be scared, you can be terrified, you can be angry, you can be confused, you could be joyful, you could say it's about time, I can't wait, whatever it is get it out. And no one's gonna read this, but you so don't even worry about it. Just get it out.

 

And once you get to the truth of how you really feel about all the shifts and changes that are happening in the world. Now you're honest, it's time to make a decision as to whether you could allow yourself to move into this new energy, this new timeframe which we're in right now. There's all of these things that are happening in the world. Could you allow yourself to dissolve everything that you currently know, shift your belief systems and understand that everything is new? Could you live in that space for just a moment? Could you live in a space that everything is new, and you're looking at things from a completely open minded and new view just like you came to this world for the very first time and all of a sudden you're seeing everything new. "Oh, wow. That's how they do things here!" 15:04 And if you can move into that space of curiosity, and wonderment and openness, just for a moment, sense into your energy system and see how it shifts for you.

And if you can't move into that space, if you're feeling very fearful, if this is really hard for you, what I want you to remember and to work on is grounding your feet into the earth and taking your root Chakra, which is at the very base of your spine (the bottom of your spine) and grounding it into the earth, literally allowing it to drop down into the earth. 15:48 When we are feeling overwhelmed when we're feeling scared, a root Chakra literally pulls up, we can cause us to not be able to be grounded and rooted into the earth.

When we're grounded and rooted into the earth, we have a great deal of stability, we have a great deal of empowerment, we feel strong, we feel secure, we feel protected, the earth supports us, when we feel afraid, like we don't have any help, and we don't have any support. And we pull that root Chakra up, we disconnect from the amazing support of our earth and the amazing information that our Earth has to give us.

So if you're in a lot of pain, emotional pain, physical pain, if you're in a lot of distress, fear, and worry, and all of these things that are very normal right now, there's nothing wrong with them. But you want to help your system, you want to help your energetic system, you want to help your nervous system, because if you don't do things to help support yourself, you'll just end up not feeling well.

So you want to stop and you want to breathe and you want to get it out. And then you just want to picture first your feet melting into the earth. 17:02 And then if you can get to your root Chakra, if you can picture your root Chakra extending down into the earth. 17:08 Now you have your root Chakra and your feet, your legs extended into the earth, the earth is wrapped around your feet, the earth supports you and you're being nourished. 17:21 When you do that you begin to feel your power being supplied again, as you breathe in, you can visualize and image and feel and sense and smell the earth coming up into your body and nourishing you.

With every inhale, the earth comes up and nourishes you, with every exhale, you just relax. 17:48 And again, you can do this seated or standing, you can do it in an office, you can do it in your car, not while you're driving, when you're parked. But you can pause at different parts of your day, and you begin to get rooted, you begin to feel the earth, you begin to take empowerment over your own energy. When we're able to take control over our energy, we're able to bring ourselves back to center, we're able to nourish ourselves.

And then we're able to make a decision about how we want to view the world and how we want to move through the world. But until then, we're reacting and responding to every single thing that's going on around us. And that's just not very empowering.

As I close today's episode, I just want to remind us that there's a lot of things dissolving because there's so much light coming in.

 

When we make room, we make space for more of that light to show up faster.

 

If we are simply reacting responding, and we're not empowering our own energy. And we're not dissolving what we need to dissolve the fears, the ideas, the old ideas, and we can't move into a space of more trust and more openness, then we're blocking the light. So if that helps, if that helps us remember to just take a moment, a moment and then another moment and then another moment and then that might turn into a couple of hours. And then that might even turn into a whole day. And then who knows, it might turn into a whole week of just knowing that you're safe, knowing you're protected, staying in alignment, and being able to allow light to come in. If we each did that, I believe that we would move through this beautiful transition phase with much more ease and flow, and much more love and hopefully at a really beautiful pace.
