Happy Lunar New Year 2024!

Today, February 10, 2024 we move into the year of the yang wood Dragon. 

Every year I like to send out an email to my community and share with them certain articles that will guide them in learning more about the lunar new year and what their element may need for greater health/emotional support in this year. 

But first you need to be able to find the year you were born, the element of that year and animal of that year I've shared that in the image at the bottom of this email.

Many years ago, I had the honor of studying from and interning with Dr. Mao Shing Ni during my Acupuncture training. He is a 30th generation Doctor of Chinese medicine and Acupuncture and is co-owner of Yo San University in Los Angeles. I always read his Lunar New Year's sharing. Also below are a video and one other article that I hope will answer some curiosity's you may have about this Dragon year.

The official language in China is Mandarin and they say, Gong xi fa cai which translates to “wishing you to be prosperous in the coming year.”

In Cantonese they say, Gung hay fat choy translates to “wishing you great happiness and prosperity.” 

I would like to wish you and your loved ones peace, joy, health, love, laughter and prosperity in every area of your life fro 2024 and beyond!
