Do you settle your Qi?

emotional balance settle qi Apr 21, 2022

Today's gentle reminder is to take some time to settle your Qi.

I love this picture because when I see it (especially the green bamboo) it always makes me pause and take a breath.

Our energy (Qi) is constantly shifting and expressing itself within us.

Qi moves within and out and it's constantly readjusting to what we need in the moment. Sometimes that's big expression, intense focus and activity... But after that, it's time to re-balance and re-store what we've used.

And we do this so that we have nourished energy in abundance to respond in most conscious ways we can, in all the various moments life give us. All the "things" we need to take care of.

Taking in the peace...

It can be as simple as taking the time to "settle" your energy. Having a cup of tea and tuning into the sounds, scents and comforts around you.

When we create the space to slow down, we create and are able to maintain a level of emotional balance...  Because we're refilling ourselves, instead of running on almost empty.

Which (of course) creates the space for more ease and flow in your life. (Aka less stress and more fun). 😊

Permission Granted!

Settling our Qi is really a very simple process, but many of us need to be reminded, or maybe even better said, given permission to connect with the empowerment of taking time for ourselves.

So, just a reminder that there's no guilt needed in taking time to settle and restore your energy, because it will allow you to show up more fully in all the moments to come.

In joy,
